ABOUT THE PIECE \
"This piece features a Japanese yakuza (organized crime gang) member pondering his past (or future.) Above him in gold is the Japanese word "kusatta" or "rotten." Intermingled with his tattoos however, is the Japanese word "aganai" or "redeemed." Can even the most marked of criminals change? Can anybody embark on a new life? I think the answer is yes." — JUURI
